Expanded Clay

Expanded clay aggregate, also known as lightweight clay pellets or LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate), is a man-made stone formed by firing natural clay at a high temperature of around 1100°C until it expands.

As a porous material, it retains adequate moisture while maintaining good aeration, making it an ideal horticultural medium for hydroponic and indoor plants.
