Seabird Guano
![]()
Seabird guano phosphate fertilizer is an organic fertilizer formed from the accumulated droppings of seabirds, bats, and seals. In tropical regions with heavy rainfall, seabird droppings accumulate on coral reefs. Rainwater gradually washes out the phosphoric acid components from the droppings, which then combine with the lime content in the coral. Over time, this process forms a unique substance.
Because the phosphoric acid in this fertilizer is not water-soluble, it does not dissolve quickly and thus avoids causing fertilizer burn. When applied near plant roots, over 50% of the total phosphorus content becomes available for absorption. It is suitable for a wide range of crops including fruit trees, vegetables, and flowering plants.
Additionally, seabird phosphate fertilizer helps to neutralize acidic soil and balance soil pH. As it is odorless and environmentally friendly, it is an ideal choice for cultivating a variety of crops.
